We are recruiting SIA Licensed Security Hosts to join our Security Team to work at Edinburgh Playhouse – the UK’s Largest all seated theatre.
This is a great opportunity for the correct individuals to work at the Playhouse and work alongside a dynamic and experienced Management and Supervision team.
Candidates must hold a valid SIA License in Door Supervision.
Ideal candidates must be over 18 with a friendly and outgoing approach, be presentable and have excellent communication skills, which should include written English.
Shifts will be predominantly weekends and midweek shifts so a degree of flexibility is required.
Duties would include:
Entry screening
Searching of patrons
Dealing with incidents
Carrying out ejections
Public information
Directional information
Carrying out safety patrols
Experience is preferred but not essential as you will receive an in-depth Company Induction and your first shift will include shadowing an existing team member.

Starting Rate of Pay: £12.10 per hour (paid weekly)
